Job summary

Northeast Auto Group is seeking a Parts Interpreter to support the growing parts department at Northeast Truck Centre, Ormeau. The role focuses on helping customers and technicians identify and source the correct parts for automotive, industrial or machinery applications.

You will use product knowledge and reference materials to accurately identify parts, process orders, manage stock levels and support a seamless customer experience across teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive or industrial parts is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Detail-oriented with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in using computer software and inventory management systems.

As a Parts Interpreter, you will play a crucial role in assisting customers and technicians in identifying and sourcing the right parts for various automotive, industrial, or machinery applications. If you have a passion for helping customers, strong knowledge of parts and components, and exceptional communication skills, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers in identifying and sourcing the right parts, answering inquiries, and offering technical advice when needed.
• Use your expertise to accurately identify parts, components, and specifications based on customer descriptions, part numbers, and reference materials.
• Process customer orders efficiently and accurately, ensuring that the correct parts are selected and ordered.
• Monitor and manage parts inventory, ensuring stock levels are sufficient to meet customer demand.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends, product developments, and technical information related to the parts you deal with.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, orders, and inventory management.
• Work closely with other team members, including sales, technicians, and suppliers, to ensure a seamless customer experience.

About You

• Knowledge or a passion for automotive, industrial, or machinery parts and components.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
