Job summary

Northeast Auto Ceduna is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Parts Interpreter to join our team. You will assist customers and technicians with parts identification, sales and advice across leading brands. The role is Monday to Friday and reports to the Parts Manager.

This position suits someone with automotive, agricultural or machinery parts experience who enjoys helping customers find the right parts and providing practical product advice, while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive, agricultural or machinery parts is preferred.
• Strong understanding of mechanical parts and equipment.
• Confident with customers and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly parts advice to customers.
• Identify and source automotive, agricultural and machinery parts.
• Assist with parts enquiries and sales.
• Prepare quotes, orders and invoices.
• Maintain accurate parts inventory and stock records.
• Liaise with suppliers to source parts and provide timely solutions.
• Collaborate with Parts Manager, workshop and sales teams.
• Maintain a clean, organised parts department.
• Deliver excellent customer service and build relationships.

Northeast Auto Ceduna is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Parts Interpreter to join our team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with automotive, agricultural or machinery parts experience who enjoys helping customers find the right parts and providing practical product advice.

About The Role

Working Monday to Friday and reporting directly to the Parts Manager, you will be responsible for assisting customers and technicians with parts identification, sales and advice across a diverse range of leading brands, including:

• Toyota
• John Deere
• STIHL
• Bridgestone
• Goldacres
• Isuzu
• Spitwater

Key Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and knowledgeable parts advice to customers
• Identify and source automotive, agricultural and machinery parts
• Assist customers with parts enquiries and sales
• Prepare quotes, orders and invoices
• Maintain accurate parts inventory and stock records
• Liaise with suppliers to source parts and provide timely solutions
• Work closely with the Parts Manager, workshop and sales teams
• Maintain a clean, organised and professional parts department
• Deliver excellent customer service and build strong customer relationships

About You

• Has previous parts, automotive, agricultural or machinery experience (preferred but not essential)
• Has a good understanding of mechanical parts and equipment
• Is confident dealing with customers and suppliers
• Has strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Can work independently while also being a strong team player
• Has a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Is reliable, punctual and committed to providing excellent service
