Job summary

HOBAN Recruitment is seeking experienced APS4 Participant Support Officers for Canberra, ACT in a dynamic Federal Government environment where you will deliver administrative, operational and participant support services.

As part of the APS4 team, you will manage enquiries, data, and workflows while ensuring policy compliance and high-quality stakeholder service. This full-time role offers an ASAP start, 37.5 hours per week, and a competitive pay rate with 12% superannuation.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting participants in a government or community services setting.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage participant enquiries and provide accurate information and support.
• Conduct administrative, operational and data management activities.
• Review information to support decision-making processes.
• Make outbound calls to participants, providers and stakeholders.
• Manage workflow priorities and meet deadlines.
• Apply policies, procedures and legislative frameworks.
• Assist with participant pathway and suitability assessments.
• Escalate complex matters when required.
• Contribute to process improvements and team objectives.
• Build positive relationships with stakeholders.
