Job summary

Uniting NSW.ACT invites applications for a Village Manager to lead on-site operations across our retirement village in Sydney. The role is permanent-part-time (28 hours per week) across 4 or 5 days, with a focus on resident wellbeing and a harmonious village environment.

You'll coordinate maintenance, support residents and staff, manage records, and contribute to budget planning while fostering an inclusive community culture. Formal qualifications are helpful but not essential.

Qualifications

• Calm, level-headed and professional approach to lead a team and support residents.
• Strong organisational and time management skills for daily operations.
• Great communication and conflict resolution skills to address concerns with care.
• Warm, welcoming personality with a genuine desire to support older people to live well.
• Willingness to learn and engage in training and development.

Responsibilities

• Provide respectful, person-centred service to all residents.
• Support residents’ wellbeing, independence, and sense of connection.
• Manage records, correspondence, and reporting using Uniting systems.
• Foster an inclusive, respectful, and harmonious village culture.
