Job summary

Knowmore Legal Service is seeking a part-time Paralegal to support survivors of childhood abuse and the Stolen Generations. In this role, you will assist lawyers with client files, research, and drafting documents in a trauma-informed environment.

Qualifications

• Working towards a relevant legal tertiary qualification or having one.
• Ability to work in a way that recognizes trauma.
• Ability to deliver plain language advice.

Responsibilities

• Assist lawyers with management of client files.
• Draft correspondence and documents.
• Conduct legal research as needed.
• Coordinate record requests.
• Collate records for compensation referrals.
