Shellharbour City Council is seeking a proactive and organised team member for the Visitor Information Centre in Shellharbour Village. You will welcome visitors, provide local recommendations, assist with bookings and retail sales, and maintain tourism content across digital platforms.

You will collaborate with staff, volunteers and tourism partners to promote the Shellharbour region, delivering exceptional service and memorable experiences for all visitors.

Qualifications

• Proactive and organised individual with excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong local tourism knowledge and networking capacity.
• Experience in administration and computer systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide visitor information and local recommendations.
• Assist with bookings and retail sales.
• Maintain tourism content across digital platforms.
• Support relationships with tourism operators and industry partners.
• Contribute to day-to-day operation of the Accredited Visitor Information Centre.
