Uniting Vic.Tas is seeking a Team Leader to guide a dedicated team supporting young people aged 12-17 who face barriers to education. You will lead, coach and collaborate with families, schools and partners to deliver person-centred outcomes.

The role requires trauma-informed, culturally safe approaches, with a focus on continuous improvement and service excellence for meaningful educational pathways. Based in Croydon, part-time 4 days per week.

Formación

• Bachelor level qualification in social work, psychology, social science or related discipline.
• Driver’s license valid in Victoria (essential).
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Experience in developing and leading complex programs/services in the delivery of high‑quality, consumer‑ and/or community‑centric services.
• Demonstrable supervisory experience preferably in the children, youth and family sector.
• Knowledge of family services, child protection and/or out of home care, including relevant legislation and regulations.
• Understanding of the barriers experienced by disengaged learners.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and inspire a dedicated team supporting young people aged 12-17 who face significant barriers to educational engagement.
• Provide leadership, coaching and guidance to staff as they work alongside young people, families, schools and community partners to achieve meaningful educational outcomes.
• Drive service excellence, foster innovation and continuous improvement, and ensure the program delivers high-quality, person-centred support.
