Available for 60 hours per fortnight, the position emphasizes friendly service, respect for older adults, and adherence to food safety and infection control practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or care setting preferred.
• Ability to follow policies and procedures.
• Strong communication and friendly demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, professional service to residents, families, staff and visitors.
• Engage respectfully with older adults to understand their needs.
• Ensure all staff uphold quality food and courteous service for residents.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and infection control standards.
• Assist with the full range of domestic duties including cleaning, kitchen and food preparation.
• Maintain general cleanliness of kitchen, appliances, storage areas, benches and floors.
• Ad hoc duties in and around the facility to support residents and staff.
