Job summary

Securitas USA is seeking a Security Officer to help maintain a safe and secure environment at client sites in Louisville, Westminster, Brighton, and other locations. Responsibilities include access control, patrolling, reporting safety concerns, and providing information to employees and guests.

The role requires 18+, HS diploma or GED, strong customer service and team leadership, ability to work independently, and calm judgment in emergencies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid/effective judgment.

Responsibilities

• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilize technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out tasks and duties of similar nature as required for assigned site.

Site Locations: Louisville, Westminster, Brighton, Boulder, Denver, & Aurora, CO
Wage Range: $20.00-$22.75/HR
The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.

Basic Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
