Job summary

Brisbane Catholic Education, St Augustine’s College in Augustine Heights, is seeking a caring School Officer (Classroom Support) to assist Primary students with learning and wellbeing. This 12-month, part-time role works 18 hours over 3 days per week, starting January 2027 and ending after the 2027 school year.

The role pays $34.17 per hour plus 12.75% super, with a fixed-term contract and unpaid school holidays. Applicants must have eligibility to work in Australia and a Blue Card.

Qualifications

• Experience planning, preparing and delivering teaching programs.
• Ability to monitor student progress and apply evidence-based interventions.
• Support for diverse learning needs to improve outcomes.
• Collaborate with school specialists and coordinate intervention groups.
• Document observations and prepare classroom materials.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, preparation and delivery of learning programs for students, including use of technology and learning support activities.
