Job summary

St Augustine's College, Augustine Heights, part of Brisbane Catholic Education Office, invites applications for a School Officer (Classroom Support). The role supports Primary students and contributes to wellbeing, across a 12-month fixed term, 3 days per week (18 hours).

You will assist with planning, delivery of learning programs, and use of learning technology, while monitoring progress and coordinating intervention groups with school specialists.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in planning, preparing, and delivering effective teaching programs.
• Ability to monitor student progress and apply evidence-based interventions.
• Expertise in supporting diverse learning needs to improve student outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with planning, preparation and delivery of learning and teaching programs for students including use of technology.
• Monitor student progress and identify learning areas to provide intervention approaches.
• Support students with diverse learning needs to improve outcomes.
• Collaborate with school specialists to coordinate intervention groups and services.
• Document observations and intervention notes; help prepare classroom materials.
