St Augustine's College, Augustine Heights, seeks two caring School Officers (Classroom Support – Primary) to work with teachers and support primary students to thrive in the classroom. These are 12-month contracts commencing January 2027. Eligibility includes working in Australia and a Paid Employee Blue Card prior to commencement.

Certificate III in Education Support preferred. BCE offers a supportive Catholic education environment and opportunities for professional development.

Competenze

• Experience planning, preparing, and delivering effective teaching programs.
• Ability to monitor student progress and apply evidence-based interventions.
• Experience supporting diverse learning needs to improve student outcomes.
• Collaborate with specialists and coordinate intervention groups.
• Document observations and prepare classroom materials.
• Certificate III in Education Support held; not required to be Catholic.

Mansioni

• Assisting with the planning, preparation and delivery of effective learning and teaching programs for students including the use of technology and learning support activities.
• Monitoring the progress of students and identifying learning areas to provide evidence-based intervention strategies.
• Improving student learning outcomes by providing support and advice on supporting students with diverse learning needs.
• Collaborating with school specialists in organising and assisting with intervention groups to coordinate services.
• Documenting observation notes, intervention programs and assist in the collation and preparation of classroom materials.
