Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking a part-time School Crossing Supervisor for Santa Sophia Catholic College – Gables. The role covers school start and finish times, with 20 hours of supervision per fortnight and a clear focus on child safety near the school zone.

Shifts run 7:30–8:30 and 2:00–3:00, Monday to Friday. An hourly rate applies, with superannuation and holiday pay, and training is provided for those ready to serve their community.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be 18 years of age at the time of appointment.
• Willingness to obtain Working with Children Check, Police Check and Health Assessment.
• Training, uniforms and equipment will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Supervise school crossings during the hours 7:30 AM–8:30 AM and 2:00 PM–3:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
• Ensure the safety of students, parents and motorists.
• Engage with the school community and act as a trusted campus presence.
• Be alert to potential hazards and communicate risks clearly.
