Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking a part-time School Crossing Supervisor for Glenmore Road Public School in Paddington. The role involves assisting students and families during peak school hours, maintaining safety, and representing the program in the local community.

Shifts run 8:30–9:30 and 3:00–4:00, Monday to Friday, with 20 hours per fortnight. Training, uniforms and equipment are provided, and applicants must obtain required checks and health assessments.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age at the time of appointment.
• All training, uniforms and equipment will be provided.
• Willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check, Reference Checks, Police Check, and Health Assessment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of students, parents, teachers and motorists during school hours.
• Stand for 20 hours per fortnight across morning and afternoon shifts (8:30–9:30 and 3:00–4:00, Monday to Friday).
• Be a reliable, friendly presence in the school community.
• Participate in pre-employment checks as required.
