Job summary

Toorak College on the Mornington Peninsula seeks a part-time Risk and Compliance Officer to coordinate risk, compliance and governance across the School. You will build trusted relationships with leaders, staff and regulatory bodies, delivering expert guidance to foster a proactive culture of safety and accountability.

You will lead risk assessments for events, maintain compliance registers, monitor regulatory updates and support policy development.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in risk management, compliance, governance, business, law or related discipline.
• Experience in risk, compliance, governance, assurance or quality roles.
• Experience in Education, Not-For-Profit or similarly regulated environments is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead the School's risk assessments, compliance reviews and governance reporting across domestic and international activities.
• Develop and maintain compliance registers and documentation; monitor regulatory obligations.
• Coordinate with Senior Leadership to implement risk management frameworks and policies.
• Provide expert advice to internal stakeholders and regulators to promote a culture of safety and accountability.
• Support emergency management, business continuity planning and child safety obligations.
