Job summary

Camberwell Grammar School is seeking a proactive Risk & Compliance Officer to lead the school’s risk management and compliance initiatives. Reporting to the Risk & Compliance Manager, you will help implement robust frameworks covering OH&S, Emergency Management, Incident Management, and privacy.

You will champion child safety, translate complex regulatory requirements into practical safety practices, and work across departments to build a strong safety culture with staff training and effective

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in risk management, OH&S, regulatory compliance, or QA.
• Knowledge of Child Safe Standards and reporting obligations.
• Strong familiarity with OH&S legislation, risk frameworks, and privacy laws.
• Proven ability to deliver engaging training and build relationships.
• Experience managing workplace injury processes and WorkCover claims.
• Excellent planning, organisational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve risk management and compliance frameworks.
• Ensure OH&S, Emergency Management, Incident Management and privacy controls are robust.
• Conduct hands-on risk assessments for campus operations and off-site activities.
• Lead training and guidance for staff and safety committees to foster a proactive safety culture.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure Child Safe Standards are met.
