Job summary

The Attic Group, a leading attic conversions and storage solutions provider in Australia, invites applications for a part-time Residential Construction Administrator. You will help ensure builds comply with regulations, manage approvals and support the estimating process to keep projects on track.

You will coordinate approvals, liaise with councils and certifiers, handle estimates for residential projects and maintain comprehensive project records and customer files.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential construction administration.
• Strong knowledge of building approvals and compliance processes.
• Excellent communication and ability to build rapport with customers, trades and suppliers.
• Experience with estimating for residential projects, including materials and labour.
• Proficiency with construction-related software or estimating tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all aspects of building approvals, permits and compliance documentation.
• Liaise confidently with councils, certifiers and regulatory bodies to ensure projects meet legislative requirements.
• Communicate effectively with customers, trades people, suppliers and site managers to keep timelines and quality on track.
• Prepare and review estimates for residential construction projects, ensuring accuracy and cost efficiency.
• Maintain organised project records and assist with scheduling and workflow management.
• Maintain customer files with relevant contracts, variations and other required documentation.
