The University of Sydney is seeking a part-time Research Coordinator to support a new school-based clinical trial within the Type 1 Diabetes and coeliac screening program. You will help coordinate operations, ethics submissions and stakeholder engagement across schools and communities.

Hybrid work options are available, with flexible daily hours to suit school schedules. The role offers pro-rata base salary and superannuation, aligning with Australian public health research priorities.

Formación

• Tertiary qualification in health or related discipline highly regarded.
• Experience in a research or clinical trial environment.
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and solve complex problems.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate the set-up of the clinical trial with the research team and stakeholders.
• Prepare and manage ethics submissions and governance approvals across multiple institutions.
• Develop study documentation and parent- and child-facing materials.
• Schedule and coordinate activities with schools and community partners.
• Ensure compliance with study protocols and regulatory requirements (GCP).
• Support research operations including contracts, service agreements and trial logistics.
• Maintain accurate study records and databases for delivery and reporting.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding and training of staff as required.
• Liaise with research partners and healthcare providers to support trial delivery.
