Job summary

The University of Sydney is seeking a Clinical Data Systems Coordinator to support the design, development, testing and maintenance of clinical data systems for multiple trials. Based at Chris O’Brien LifeHouse with a hybrid work arrangement, the role requires REDCap expertise and a strong focus on data quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with REDCap and other clinical data systems.
• Experience supporting the study development process within a clinical research or clinical trials environment.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to build effective working relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
• Highly developed organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing and testing clinical data systems for clinical trials, including data entry forms and validation rules.
• Collaborating with project managers, clinical data managers, clinicians, biostatisticians and other stakeholders to deliver study requirements.
• Supporting the implementation, maintenance and troubleshooting of clinical data systems in production environments.
• Developing and maintaining documentation, procedures and testing plans.
• Providing user support and training to clinical research staff.
• Ensuring systems and processes comply with relevant regulations, guidelines and operating procedures.
