Qualifications

• Current registration with the Nurses Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
• Bachelor of Nursing qualification (or equivalent).
• Infection Prevention Control Lead (IPC) qualification is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with care staff and health practitioners to ensure high level clinical care.
• Complete individualised assessments for new residents including respite residents.
• Review and update individualised care plans.
• Undertake clinical care including wound care, pain management, and end-of-life care.
• Ensure medication management, pharmacy liaison, drug storage and reporting adverse reactions.
• Provide regular handovers to clinical staff ensuring confidentiality.
