Job summary

The Buttery is seeking a compassionate clinician to support survivors through the National Redress Scheme. This part‑time role focuses on participant support, documentation and navigating applications, with outreach to community partners.

Based in Binna Burra, the role is 32 hours per week in a hybrid arrangement, with no weekend work. Remuneration is SCHCDS Level 5, $53–55 per hour, plus salary packaging benefits.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in psychology, social work, counselling, mental health or similar with current peak body registration.
• Current driver's licence and Working with Children Check are required.
• Experience providing trauma-informed counselling and case management for complex needs.

Responsibilities

• Support survivors to understand the National Redress Scheme and gather documents.
• Complete applications and connect participants with appropriate supports.
• Build relationships with community stakeholders and raise awareness of the Scheme.
• Provide participant support, case coordination, and accurate documentation while navigating processes.
