Job summary

Curtin University’s National Drug Research Institute seeks a part-time Project Coordinator for a fixed-term MRFF-funded study across WA, Victoria and the ACT. You will coordinate activities, monitor timelines, and support ethics and data collection efforts with researchers and partners.

Based at Technology Park (Bentley Campus) with flexible scheduling in a three-year role beginning January 2027. Applicants with lived experience and AOD/public health research background are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated project coordination experience and ability to manage timelines.
• Experience with qualitative and/or quantitative research methods.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience with people with lived experience of drug use.
• Experience in AOD or public health research is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operations across three data collection jurisdictions and the UTAS data hub.
• Manage project meetings and logistics with partner organisations.
• Assist in collection, coordination and collation of research data.
• Support ethics submissions and reporting requirements.
• Monitor activities, timelines and deliverables for the three-year project.
• Collaborate with the broader project team and partners.
