Job summary

GEO Healthcare is seeking Pharmacy Technicians to support prison healthcare in Lara, VIC. Roles include medication preparation, administration, and inventory management under supervision. Opportunities exist across Karreenga and Marngoneet Correctional Centres with onsite work only.

The position offers an attractive base salary (65k+ AUD) with superannuation and pro-rata adjustments for part-time hours, plus ongoing professional development and career benefits.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Hospital or Health Services Pharmacy Support or equivalent.
• Certificate IV in Community Pharmacy Dispensary.
• Completion of a dispensary assistant module is highly desirable.
• Previous extensive work experience as a pharmacy technician in a hospital or the community.

Responsibilities

• Assist with medication preparation for administration rounds.
• Administer prescribed medication under supervision.
• Assist in medication inventory management and ordering.
