Job summary

Qualifications

• Current registration as RN or EN with AHPRA in Victoria.
• Experience in primary care: triage, wound care, vaccinations, and chronic disease support.
• Strong communication, empathy, confidentiality, and culturally safe care.
• Proficiency in clinical documentation and EMR systems.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and follow practice protocols.
• Commitment to infection prevention and continuous quality improvement.
• Time management and organizational skills to manage appointments and room readiness.
• General practice or community health nursing experience is highly regarded; postgraduate training is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including triage, wound care, immunisations, and chronic disease management.
• Prepare and manage treatment rooms, coordinate patient flow, perform clinical assessments, administer medications per policy, and document care in the clinical information system.
• Collaborate with the broader care team to support care plans, health promotion, and patient education on disease prevention and self-management.
