Cairns Central Medical is seeking a part-time Enrolled Nurse to join our friendly team at Cairns Central Shopping Centre. This permanent role offers up to 30 hours per week with weekend availability, supporting GPs and delivering high quality, patient-centred care across immunisations, health assessments, chronic disease management, minor procedures and treatment room support.

Formación

• Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
• General Practice/Primary Care experience preferred.
• Immunisations, health assessments, and chronic disease management experience encouraged.
• Excellent communication and patient-care abilities.
• Experience with clinical software systems or willingness to learn.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with patient care, triage support, and treatment preparation.
• Prepare and maintain treatment rooms.
• Administer immunisations, wound care, and other nursing procedures as authorised.
• Support chronic disease management activities and care plan coordination.
• Conduct health assessments and clinical measurements (e.g. ECG, spirometry, audiometry).
• Assist with minor procedures and patient follow-up.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.
• Provide patient education, health promotion, and support.
