Job summary

Epworth HealthCare is recruiting for two part-time leadership opportunities in the Postnatal team at East Melbourne. Positions are 0.6 EFT and 0.7 EFT, ideal for clinicians pursuing leadership in postnatal care.

You will work with the Maternity Services leadership team, with support from the Unit Manager, and access to mentoring and leadership programs as part of Epworth’s commitment to growth. Based at Epworth Freemasons Maternity Hospital, you will assist in clinical management and lead the

Qualifications

Current unrestricted midwifery registration with AHPRA.
Previous experience in Post Natal units and leadership roles.
Contemporary knowledge of best practice in maternity and newborn nursing care.
Essential-Minimum 3 yrs exp after Post Grad.
Applicants must hold a minimum Level 3 FSEP Practitioner credential.

Responsibilities

Be part of the Leadership Team delivering exceptional patient, family and staff experience.
Lead the team through positive role modeling and accountability.
Provide mentoring and support; step into Midwife Unit Manager responsibilities as needed.
Support the overall clinical management and team leadership of the Post Natal unit.
