Searoad Ferries is seeking a Payroll Officer to join our Queenscliff head office on a part-time basis (3 days per week: Mon-Wed). You will manage end-to-end payroll for multiple entities, handle onboarding and departures, and maintain confidential records with strong attention to detail.

Proficiency in MS Office 365, Excel, MYOB and Microkeeper is highly regarded. You will report to the CFO within a collaborative finance team and must be able to work set days on-site.

• Experience in a multi-entity payroll environment is essential.
• Solid understanding of modern payroll practices and awards.

• Ability to work independently within a shared services finance team.

• End-to-End Payroll: Deliver timely, weekly payroll processing for 5 companies, ensuring compliance.
• Lifecycle Administration: Manage onboarding documentation and final termination payouts.
• Record Management: Maintain confidential payroll, personnel, and leave records.
• Digital Collaboration: Use Microsoft SharePoint to organize payroll folders and finance records.
• Finance Support: Perform ad-hoc accounting duties as directed by the CFO.
