Job summary

MUJI Australia is seeking a part-time Payroll Administrator to join the Store Support Service team in Melbourne. You will deliver accurate end-to-end payroll processing while ensuring compliance with Australian payroll legislation, employment standards, and the General Retail Industry Award.

You will work with Kronos (UKG) and ELMO HRIS, manage records, and support payroll audits and reporting. The role offers flexible hybrid options and opportunities for professional growth within a global

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of Australian payroll experience
• Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, superannuation and taxation
• Experience with end-to-end payroll processing and payroll controls

Responsibilities

• Process and administer payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with all legislations and award requirements
• Maintain employee payroll records, timesheets and data in HRIS and payroll systems (Kronos/ELMO)
• Manage onboarding, variations, terminations, and payroll reconciliations
• Interpret and apply Fair Work Act, NES and General Retail Industry Award provisions
• Respond to payroll enquiries and assist with audits and month-end reporting
