Turner Freeman is seeking two Paralegals to join our Newcastle office on a part-time basis. We are looking for current law students entering their 3rd year in 2027 and 4th year in 2027, who can support our legal teams with professionalism and discretion.

As a Paralegal, you will assist with admin, legal research, document drafting under supervision, and client communications, helping maintain files and confidential practice standards while balancing study commitments.

Qualificações

• Currently studying law and entering 3rd year in 2027
• Willing to learn legal databases and drafting processes
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Responsabilidades

• Providing administrative and clerical support to lawyers, including managing correspondence, scheduling appointments and maintaining case files
• Conducting legal research using various legal databases and resources to support legal advice and case preparation
• Drafting and preparing legal documents, pleadings and correspondence under the supervision of qualified lawyers
• Managing client interactions by responding to enquiries, scheduling consultations and maintaining client relationships
• Maintaining accurate and organised filing systems, both physical and digital, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with legal requirements
• Performing general office administration tasks to support the efficient operation of the legal practice
