NSW Health's Eurobodalla Regional Hospital invites applications for an Assistant in Nursing in a part-time role. Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will assist with daily patient care and comfort as part of a multidisciplinary team, delivering person-centred care in a rural community.

Based in Moruya, the ERH project opens in 2027 and will offer state-of-the-art facilities to the region.

Qualifications

• Current Health Service Assistant Certificate III (Acute Care) or equivalent, or 1+ year’s undergraduate nursing training.
• Ability to follow delegated care plans under a registered nurse supervision.
• Provide person-centred care respecting rights in a multi-disciplinary team.
• Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills using IT, writing and speaking.
• Capable of identifying and resolving conflicts calmly and professionally.

Responsabilités

• Support nursing staff in daily patient care and comfort under RN supervision.
• Contribute to person-centred care planning with the team.
• Assist with documentation, information systems and patient records.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the care team.
• Participate in personal development and ongoing competency maintenance.
