Hunter New England Local Health District is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join the Barraba Multipurpose Service team. This permanent role offers full- and part-time opportunities in a rural healthcare setting, delivering high-quality, person-centred care across acute, emergency, residential aged care and community services.

The role requires NSW RN registration, strong assessment and teamwork skills, and a commitment to patient-centred care.

Formación

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to patient-centred care and continuous improvement.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a rural healthcare environment.
• Knowledge of infection prevention, medication safety, and clinical documentation standards.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and in accordance with NSW Health policies.
• Respond to clinical deterioration and emergency situations.
• Provide compassionate, person-centred care to patients, residents, and families.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and electronic health records.
• Collaborate with medical, allied health, and support staff within a multidisciplinary team.
• Supervise and support ENs and AINs where appropriate.
• Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and accreditation activities.
• Promote NSW Health and HNELHD values, standards and professional expectations.
• Demonstrate adaptability and autonomy in a rural setting.
