Job summary

Spine and Orthopaedic Centre in Berwick, VIC is seeking a part-time Medical Receptionist to be the welcoming first point of contact. You will manage telephones, appointment scheduling, payments and referrals while supporting a team of spine and orthopaedic specialists and physiotherapists.

The role requires a minimum of 1 year in medical reception, a valid driver’s license, and strong computer and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years experience in Medical Reception; Specialist preferred, however GP acceptable.
• Driver's licence is essential.
• Proficient in Clinic to Cloud preferred.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Strong computer skills and attention to detail.
• Growth mindset and a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephones and all platform enquiries.
• Schedule appointments for all providers.
• General administrative tasks including scanning of documents and letters.
• Taking payments.
• Processing and triaging referrals across our Specialists.
