Job summary

Griffith University is seeking an enthusiastic medical practitioner to deliver clinical education for MD students in Phases 2 and 3 at the Sunshine Coast facilities. The role includes coordinating simulation-based learning, bedside teaching and assessment, while providing academic support for Phase 2/3 learners.

Qualifications

• Possess a medical degree from a recognised educational institution.
• PhD or equivalent qualification in an appropriate discipline, or evidence of progress towards completion; and/or Professional Fellowship.
• Have current registration or eligibility for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a medical practitioner.
• Demonstrate expertise and experience in teaching medical students and/or junior doctors in academia or clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical education of medical students in Phases 2 and 3 of the MD program at Sunshine Coast locations, coordinating simulation, bedside teaching and assessment.
• Provide academic leadership to foster teaching innovations and excellence in scholarship, service and professional activities.
• Collaborate with the Clinical Sub-Dean and Phase Leads to ensure a high-quality student learning experience across campuses.
