Job summary

Griffith University invites applications for a Lecturer (Teaching Focused) in Clinical Education to join our School of Medicine and Dentistry on the Sunshine Coast. The role centers on designing and delivering learning activities, coordinating elements of the Doctor of Medicine program, and supporting student success with modern teaching methods.

You will contribute to curriculum development, employ technology-enhanced learning, and engage in scholarly activities to advance medical education.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from a recognised educational institution.
• Ahpra registration or registrable clinical qualification.
• Experience teaching in undergraduate or postgraduate medical programs.
• Masters or doctoral qualification or professional fellowship desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver clinical education content for the Doctor of Medicine program.
• Act as a course convenor and contribute to curriculum development.
• Support learning outcomes through technology-enhanced and authentic learning.
• Foster an inclusive learning environment that supports student well-being.
• Engage in scholarly activities and contribute to continuous improvement in medical education.
