Job summary

Griffith University is seeking a dedicated Lecturer (Teaching Focused) in Clinical Education to join the School of Medicine and Dentistry. You will design, deliver, coordinate, and improve learning and assessment within the Doctor of Medicine program, with a focus on student-centred experiences.

The role is 0.4 FTE (40%), at Sunshine Coast Health Institute and Sunshine Coast University Hospital, with potential 0.2 FTE fractional appointments.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from a recognised institution.
• Ahpra registration or registrable clinical qualification.
• Experience teaching in undergraduate or postgraduate medical programs.
• Masters/Doctoral qualification or professional fellowship desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver clinical education content for the MD program.
• Act as a course convener and contribute to curriculum development.
• Support learning outcomes through technology-enhanced and authentic learning.
• Foster an inclusive learning environment for student success.
• Engage in scholarly activities and continuous improvement in medical education.
