Job summary

Cranfield Group in Yatala seeks a hands-on Purchasing and Production Support Coordinator. The role covers purchasing, inventory control and production scheduling within a busy manufacturing environment. You will use ERP systems and Excel to analyse data, raise orders and ensure materials meet deadlines.

The position is permanent part-time (20–30 hours/week) with a flexible, supportive team. Experience in manufacturing purchasing is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong Excel skills and data reporting.
• Experience with ERP or inventory-management systems.
• Attention to detail and accurate data-entry skills.
• Ability to manage changing priorities independently.
• Experience with production scheduling would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Raise and manage purchase orders.
• Liaise with suppliers regarding pricing, availability and delivery schedules.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate material requirements.
• Support production planning and scheduling.
• Update the ERP system and ensure records remain accurate.
• Follow up outstanding orders and resolve supply issues.
