Job summary

St Columba’s College is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Officer to join our Learning Diversity team. This part-time role (18 hours/week) supports students across Years 7–12 with diverse learning needs, providing in-class and small-group support, together with personalised learning adjustments.

We value applicants with a genuine commitment to young people, strong communication skills and the ability to follow direction while working independently.

Qualifications

• Experience in learning support, youth work, education support or similar fields.
• Strong communication, teamwork and relationship-building skills.
• Able to follow teacher direction while working proactively and independently.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with teachers to support students with diverse learning needs across Years 7–12.
• Provide in-class assistance, small-group support and individualised learning adjustments.
• Assist with the implementation of Personalised Learning Plans and evidence-based interventions.
