Job summary

Australian Clinical Labs – Frenchs Forest NSW is seeking a part-time Laboratory Assistant to support specimen reception, preparation for analysis, and customer service within our busy lab. The role involves referral of specimens to tertiary laboratories, equipment maintenance, and compliance with accreditation and quality assurance standards.

The position requires a Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques (or currently underway), strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques or currently pursuing the qualification.
• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with internal and external clients.

Responsibilities

• Handle specimen reception and preparation for analysis.
• Assist with referral of specimens to tertiary laboratories.
• Maintain instrumentation and equipment in accordance with QA requirements.
• Ensure compliance with WH&S and accreditation standards.
• Provide courteous, responsive service to internal and external stakeholders.
