Job summary

Max Brenner is seeking a Part Time Kitchen Hand at our Surfers Paradise store on the Gold Coast. You’ll help keep our café running smoothly with table clearances, dishwashing and food prep while maintaining high Food Safety standards.

Ideal candidates bring prior kitchen or back-of-house experience, are available for evenings, and show energy, team spirit, and a can-do attitude in a fast-paced guest-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Kitchen Hand or Back of House role is essential.
• Availability for evening shifts including 5:00pm–11:30pm on Thu/Fri/Sat/Sun.
• Excellent communication skills including verbal and written.
• Energetic, positive and guest-focused with a can-do attitude.
• Able to multitask, prioritise and manage time efficiently.
• Works well in a team and on individual tasks.

Responsibilities

• Clean and clear tables to maintain a tidy café environment.
• Wash, clear and pack away dishes and kitchen equipment.
• Ensure Food Safety requirements are followed at all times.
• Assist in food preparation for front-of-house service.
• Rotate stock using FIFO and manage back-room stock areas.
