Cement Australia is seeking a part-time Internal Communications Specialist to shape our internal communications strategy across the business, including frontline and shift-based teams. This role goes beyond polished emails and will design practical communications that reach everyone.

The ideal candidate will build templates, guides and standards from scratch, advise leaders, and develop capabilities in communicating with diverse teams, with a flexible 16-week term and ~20 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Proven internal communications experience in heavy-industry contexts.
• Experience reaching frontline/blue-collar employees.
• Strong plain-language writing ability for varied audiences.
• Experience designing templates and communications standards from scratch.
• Able to work autonomously in a part-time capacity.
• Confident communicator with leaders at all levels.

Responsabilités

• Partner with the Executive team to develop an internal communications strategy.
• Build a toolkit of templates, guides and standards for our teams.
• Create tailored strategies for frontline employees with varying digital access.
• Support Employee Value Proposition projects across the business.
• Guide leaders and develop their capability in communicating effectively.
