Job summary

Mind Australia is seeking a Part-time Site Co-ordinator in Wonthaggi to lead day-to-day site operations for the Housing with Support program, ensuring response to participants according to support plans. The role focuses on mentoring staff, coordinating shift coverage and maintaining service continuity.

You will oversee Support Workers, support program delivery, and work with the Area Manager on recruitment and performance. A Certificate IV or higher in a health-related field is required.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification (minimum Certificate IV) in Mental Health, Peer Work, Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy or other health field.
• Proven experience in Community Services, Mental Health, Disability, Housing, Healthcare or Government sectors.

Responsibilities

• Coach, motivate and supervise onsite Support Workers.
• Facilitate regular team meetings and foster a positive team culture.
• Maintain effective communication across the team for smooth shift operations.
• Develop, facilitate and evaluate group programs to support recovery and wellbeing.
• Assist Area Manager with site-based recruitment and induction of workers.
• Escalate concerns, risks, or incidents promptly to the Area Manager.
