The Department of Natural Resources and Environment Tasmania's Parks and Wildlife Service is seeking a Host Ranger to enhance visitor experiences along the Three Capes Track. You will provide accurate information, storytelling, and practical support to walkers while managing bookings and keeping visitor cabins in top condition.

The permanent, part-time role (64 hours per fortnight) offers a competitive salary ($69,593–$74,837 pa pro rata) plus 12% super, access to Health Funds, AVIS vehicle

Qualificações

• Strong storytelling ability with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to creating exceptional customer experiences.
• Passion for outdoors, natural and cultural heritage.
• Physical fitness and bushwalking experience.
• Working with Vulnerable People registration and First Aid qualifications.

Responsabilidades

• Represent the Parks and Wildlife Service and enrich visitor experiences.
• Provide accurate information, interpretation and practical support on the Three Capes Track.
• Manage bookings and maintain visitor cabins to a high standard.
