Job summary

The Benevolent Society is seeking a Home Care Support Worker for South Sydney, offering 20 hours per week across 4 weekdays. You will provide person-centred support in clients’ homes, assisting with daily tasks, personal care, and social activities, while maintaining client independence.

Ideal candidates hold a relevant qualification in aged care or disability and have a valid driver’s license with reliable transport. Salary packaging and travel time between visits are included benefits.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care such as showering, grooming, and hygiene.
• Assisting with meal preparation and light household tasks.
• Supporting clients with shopping, appointments, and social outings.
• Observing and reporting changes in a client’s wellbeing.
• Following individual care plans and completing basic documentation.
• Travelling across your service area including Kingsgrove, Port Hacking, Kirrawee, Miranda, Kurnell, Taren Point and Banksia.
