Job summary

The Benevolent Society is hiring a Home Care Support Worker to provide person-centred in-home support to older people across South Sydney. You will assist with daily tasks, personal care, and social connection to help clients live independently at home.

Shifts are 20 hours per week across four weekdays (8am–4pm) with travel between clients. The role requires a valid driver’s license, First Aid/CPR, and a commitment to high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Certificate III/IV or Diploma in Aged Care, Home Care, Disability (desirable)
• Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle and comprehensive insurance
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
• Clear communication skills and a friendly, respectful approach
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to quality care
• Flexible availability to meet client needs
• Ability to follow care plans and record information accurately
• Experience with mobility aids or hoists (desirable)

Responsibilities

About the role

Please note: You’ll need to be available across 4 weekdays between 8am - 4pm and comfortable travelling between clients within your local service area.
