Job summary

Intereach is looking for a Community Support Worker (Home Care) to join our Aged Care Support team in Echuca. This permanent part-time role (minimum 15 hours per week) is based onsite, helping older people maintain independence, wellbeing and connection to their community.

You will provide person-centred support to clients aged 65+, or 50+ for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, ensuring safe, comfortable living at home.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care, Disability, Home and Community Care or equivalent.
• Experience providing personal care or a strong interest in supporting older people.
• Current unrestricted Australian Driver Licence.
• First Aid and CPR certificates.
• Smartphone for work-related communication and documentation.
• Criminal Record Check and Aged Care clearance to work in aged care.

Responsibilities

• Provide respite care and companionship.
• Deliver domestic assistance and household support.
• Support social engagement and community participation.
• Assist with meal preparation.
• Encourage independence through a reablement and wellness approach.
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
