Job summary

Steelx Pty Ltd on the Gold Coast is seeking a motivated Part-time Graphic Designer to join our in-house studio. You will create graphics, illustrations, motion graphics, and digital content for web, social, and print, collaborating with marketing teams to translate briefs into finished artwork.

The role covers responsive design across WordPress, SilverStripe, and October CMS, plus print materials and online campaigns. A strong portfolio and good communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and digital design tools.
• Strong portfolio across graphics, illustrations, and motion.
• Ability to translate briefs into compelling artwork.
• Experience with web design and CMS platforms (WordPress/SilverStripe/October CMS).
• Customer-focused communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualise and create graphics, illustrations, motion graphics, and digital content for web, social, and print.
• Collaborate with marketing and stakeholders to bring projects from brief to finished artwork.
• Develop design solutions that communicate brand messages and engage users.
• Stay updated on design trends to keep deliverables cutting-edge.
• Manage and amend multiple websites on WordPress, SilverStripe, and October CMS; design new pages and layouts.
• Design print material including newspapers, magazines, catalogs, and flyers.
• Create interactive online content including motion graphics for ads and social media.
• Design EDM campaigns and manage brochures across brands.
• Adhere to brand guidelines and coordinate with external suppliers for quotes and output.
