Job summary

Rebel Nation in Mackay is seeking a part-time designer to handle digital, print and signage work from our Mackay office. We value everyone from starters to seniors contributing to our crew, clients and community.

Based in Mackay, the role offers 20-35hrs/wk with flexible hours and a dynamic team. You will work within brand guidelines to deliver fresh, scroll-stopping designs and collaborate with local and interstate clients.

Qualifications

• Graphic and web design experience across digital, print and signage.
• Ability to work within brand guidelines to create fresh, scroll-stopping designs.
• Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
• Experience handling client and project management tasks.
• Strong time management and meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

Our design department is looking for another team member (part time, based in our Mackay office) to help with all manner of design work – from digital to print to signage to whatever crazy idea we come up with next!We believe strongly that everyone - from starters to seniors - can make a meaningful contribution to our crew, clients + community.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

Whether you're currently getting your quals or are already experienced - we're open to all levels, to find the right person. This is the type of experience we're looking for, or that you will gain in this role - or both!

Graphic/Web design skills + experience

Ability to work within brand guidelines to create fresh, interesting + scroll-stopping designs

Adobe Creative Suite skillage – mostly Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign

Client + project management

Deadline + time management

One of the most important things will be a good team fit. That’s not something you can put into a resume, but just letting you know – we love our team dynamic so we’ll be looking for someone who enjoys a bit of crazy, and a lot of work.

JOB OVERVIEW:

20-35hrs/wk, prefer Mon-Fri but we're super flexible on times + how that looks
