Job summary

Suzanne Grae is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician on a part-time basis at our Macquarie Park head office, Sydney. You will oversee the quality system, ensuring garment construction and finishes meet Suzanne Grae standards, across denim, coats and jackets.

The role requires pattern making, garment construction experience and strong attention to detail, with cross-functional collaboration across suppliers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Fashion or Clothing Manufacture with garment construction, pattern making and textile technology.
• Experience in pattern making, garment fitting and construction.
• Understanding of garment grading and sizing.
• Experience with fabric and yarn quality and performance.

Responsibilities

• Run fit sessions to the seasonal timetable.
• Support the buying team and Fit Model to achieve the best outcome.
• Train Buying Team and Suppliers on correct fit samples.
• Maintain the consistency of sizing, quality and workmanship across suppliers.
• Ensure styles are constructed using appropriate techniques and accessories for longevity.
• Manage inspections and audits – ensure shipping samples from bulk reflect the approved PP sample.
• Visit stores monthly to check stock in store for quality and measurement issues.
• Establish good working relationships with multiple stakeholders and teams.
