Job summary

Factory X is a leading Australian fashion group behind iconic brands including Gorman, Dangerfield and Princess Highway, with approximately 120 stores across Australia and New Zealand. We have a fantastic opportunity for a Quality Assurance Technician, who will ensure our garments meet Factory X benchmarks through fit sessions, fabric testing and supplier collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience in pattern making is preferred.
• Experience in fabric testing and understanding garment construction.
• Knowledge of garment grading and sizing.
• Strong attention to detail and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Support fit sessions and sizing of samples with designers and QA.
• Collaborate with overseas suppliers to resolve issues and prepare tech packs.
• Ensure content and care instructions meet Australian standards.
• Conduct monthly store visits to check stock quality and measurements.
• Assist design and production teams with styling to improve fit and finish.
