Greystones Recruitment is seeking a detail-focused QA professional to join our fashion-quality assurance team in Australia. Reporting to the QA Manager, you will assess products for fit, workmanship, quality, performance and compliance with PA requirements and Australian/New Zealand Standards.

You will work closely with Senior QA Technicians, fellow QA Technicians, Product Managers and Suppliers to identify quality issues, communicate technical feedback and support practical improvements while

Qualifications

  • Quality assurance experience within the fashion industry.
  • Solid knowledge of pattern making.
  • Experience in fabric testing and understanding of garment construction and technology.
  • A tertiary qualification in Design and Production.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective time management, prioritisation and project management skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to develop and maintain productive working relationships with colleagues and Suppliers.

Responsibilities

  • Assess garment fit, construction and workmanship against product specifications and quality requirements.
  • Conduct and review fabric and garment testing to evaluate quality and performance.

Job description

Reporting to the QA Manager, you will assess products for fit, workmanship, quality, performance and compliance with PA requirements and Australian/New Zealand Standards.
